Sands Casino Hotel Atlantic City

The Sands Atlantic City Casino Hotel is now closed.  The Sands was one of the first casinos in Atlantic City but was beginning to show its age.  Pinnacle Entertainment purchased the casino and hotel from Carl Icahn.  The Sands will be razed and a newer, more luxurious hotel and casino built in its place.
